Roxana Police Department

Mission Statement:

The mission of the Roxana Police Department is to provide committed service and protection to the residents and visitors of the Village of Roxana. The Roxana Police Department is proud of our community providing service to improve the quality of life by preventing and reducing crime through active patrol, citizen education, and maintaining public confidence by safeguarding the Constitution of the United States of America.

Chief Will Cunningham has served the Village of Roxana for 22 years and has been a D.A.R.E. officer for 17 years now. Chief Cunningham has his Associates in Criminal Justice, served as a Security Police Officer in the U.S. Air Force, and has completed Base Ground Defense Training. Chief Cunningham is a member of the Major Case Squad.

When asked why he chose his career field, he replied, “It’s an opportunity to help and serve my community.”
